We specialise in commercial and residential interior design and documentation, from initial concept through to construction. At least, that’s the elevator pitch. Truth be told, that doesn’t really scratch the surface on who we are, or what we do.

For starters, we’re problem solvers. Good listeners. Lovers of function and beauty. Creators. Nice people. Lots of fun. When we founded Dear Studio in 2018, it was about more than creating spaces. It was about creating spaces with these characteristics as the driving force, and creating relationships based on honesty, transparency and respect. Also known as design, without the smoke and mirrors. With every project, we strive to make you feel at home — whether we’re working together, or you’re living or working in a space we’ve brought to life.

Dear Studio is made of one part Shari, one part Ella. We’re a small-but-mighty, ego-free, tight-knit dream team of two. We come from very different backgrounds, bring a balance of skill sets and as a result, secretly love going to work. Shari specialises in residential — she has a knack for making anything look beautiful. Ella has a commercial background, focusing on documentation. Together, we’re one of those unsuspecting combos that just work.

More specifically, the people in retail, hospitality, events and residential properties. But while we specialise in these industries, we love applying our knowledge, skills and creativity to any kind of project you have in mind.
